Drone survey of 2 dugongs showing up eating sea grass on Libong Island and Muk Island

the Marine National Park Study and Research Center 3 (Trang) revealed images from today's dugong survey after finding two healthy dugongs in the Libong Island area, Trang Province, indicating the completeness of the marine ecosystem in the area. The survey used drones to survey during high tide, when dugongs are most likely to forage for seagrass in shallow waters. The team found two dugongs: one near Koh Muk to the south and one near Ban Phrao, Koh Libong.
